Align the template and trace the notch profile directly onto your tubing.

Remove the template, then make your initial cut slightly outside the line.

The paper-pattern setup

Find the right pattern for the tube and angle.
Print it at the correct scale.
Cut it out, wrap it, and keep it aligned.
Make another pattern when the job changes.

The KMC template setup

Pick the marked tube size and angle.
Position the template and trace the profile.
Remove it, then cut and finish your fit.
Put it back on the bench for the next build.

Is this a cutting tool or a layout template?

It is a reusable layout template. Trace the notch profile, remove the template, and cut with your own tools. You will still need to finish and test-fit the joint before welding.

What exactly comes in the bundle?

28 templates: 30°, 45°, 60°, and 90° profiles for each of seven tube outside diameters: 1.5″, 1.75″, 2″, 2.25″, 2.5″, 2.75″, and 3″. Tubing, a marker, and cutting tools are not included.

Does it include the 1⅝″ roll cage size?

No. The dedicated 1⅝″ roll cage kit is sold separately, as is the oversized 90° kit for 3.25″–4″ tubing. Match your actual tube outside diameter to the listed kit sizes.

What if my joint angle is different?

The included profiles are for 30°, 45°, 60°, and 90° joints. Other angles require additional layout and fitting; the bundle does not provide a dedicated template for every possible angle.

Why is the multicolor bundle a different price?

The multicolor bundle can have a different price from the single-color bundles. The current price updates automatically when you select a color.
